Gowlan is classified as a spurious language by wikipedia. According to Ethnologue there are 20,200 speakers as of 2000. Gowlan is an Indo-European (Indo-Germanische, Indo-Hittite) language. Karnataka Gowlan (goj-kar) and Maharashtra Gowlan (goj-mah) are the two child dialects (multitree.org).
